When I first started learning how to make ribbon roses, I was not satisfied with the result. They did not look like the roses I wanted them to be. I was at the brink of boredom because all I would have to do is flip and turn!
I was tasked to do some projects. I said ok since my daughter, who does it nicer, will be the one doing them. When I got home, though, I tried again and again…until I found out that I got better. I got the technique. I even improved the way to lock each flower in place.
The red roses you see below are the result of enjoyment. The pink one is the result of teaching my readers how to make the ribbon rose hair clip. As is said, teaching is the higher form of learning. 
So the moral of the story is don’t just quit because practice makes perfect.
